Cam and Dusty have a wealth of experience diving in the Bay of Islands and have an in-depth knowledge of the Canterbury.
Cam is PADI Dive Master and Dusty spent 20 years in the NZ navy as Diving Instructor and Diving Medical Technician. Dusty also served aboard HMNZS Canterbury.
Reef Dive Bay of Islands
Explore the wreck of the HMNZS Canterbury, wreck diving at it's best. We then follow on with a reef dive after lunch.
'Reef + Wreck - 2 dives 1 day'
Two of our favorite sites for reef diving are the fish bowl below Cape Brett light house and Putahataha Island. Both these dives boast great undersea caves, kelp forests, and a large range of sub tropical reef fish species. This is a good opportunity to feed the fish and enjoy the sub tropical undersea wonderland of the Bay of islands. Two dives in one day for the one price!
Wanting just a Reef Dive?
Island Shuttle & Dive are able to take you on a reef dive only. This may be suitable for you if you have a more limited experience with scuba diving. Price will be discussed on application.
*Please note: both of these scuba dives require entry level dive certification.
