SAFETY: The Bay of Islands Canterbury Charitable Trust strongly advise anyone diving on the wreck to have the appropriate diving qualifications. Wreck diving is both challenging and adventurous, but also carries with it potential risks. The risks posed to divers include not adhering to dive tables, entrapment, getting lost, running out of air, injury from sharp protrusions, nitrogen narcosis and decompression sickness (bends).
Cam and Dusty have a wealth of experience diving in the Bay of Islands and have an in-depth knowledge of the Canterbury.
Cam is PADI Dive Master and Dusty spent 20 years in the NZ navy as Diving Instructor and Diving Medical Technician. Dusty also served aboard HMNZS Canterbury.
